Signal Conditioning Units (Signal Conditioning Amplifiers)

Signal Conditioning Unit        Signal Conditioning Unit

We offer a wide range of Signal Conditioning Units (also known as Signal Conditioning Amplifiers). DIN rail mounted units find favour in most industrial applications, but we will provide the units in any enclosure to meet customers' requirements. Typical applications are process control and cathodic protection systems. A typical cathodic protection scheme will have at least two different types of signal conditioning amplifier, for example one to measure the voltage from a half-cell, and another to measure the current from a d.c. power regulator.

Popular types are shown in the table below. For more details of each type of amplifier, click on its type number.

Type Signal Input Range Output Range Minimum signal input impedance Input Vcm Range Supplies required
REQ1P ±2V 0 to 10V 94M ±5V ±15V
REQ2P ±100mV ±10V 200k ±24V ±15V
REQ3P ±500mV 0 to 10V 94M ±5V ±15V
REQ4P ±2V 0 to 10V 2G ±5V ±15V
REQ5P ±200mV ±10V 200k ±24V ±15V
REQ6P ±60mV ±10V 200k ±24V ±15V
REQ7P ± 20mV ±10V 94M ±5V ±15V
REQ8P ±1V ±10V 200k ±50V ±15V
REQ9P 0-10V (twice) 0 to 10V 2k 0 to 10V ±15V

All inputs are protected against overvoltage, and most types of signal conditioning amplifier will continuously withstand 230V ac or dc without damage.

We also supply units for other input or output voltages, supply voltages, or 4 to 20mA current loops. In addition, our range of DIN rail mounted units includes sensor interfaces and relay modules.
